Wife of Gov. Ishaku Tasks Groups to Be Steadfast in Good Works


Wife of Taraba State Governor, Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku charged groups to continue in good works as no service rendered to God goes unrewarded.

Barr. Ishaku gave this charge today while receiving Officials and members of various groups at her Hope Afresh Foundation office in Jalingo.


According to her, the Foundation and the various groups share a common goal which is to empower women, youths and the less privileged in the state.

She further stated that the gathering was for various groups to interact and help each other in areas of comparative advantage.

The governor’s wife also appreciated the groups that offered themselves as resource persons during Hope Afresh programmes and expressed her profound gratitude to everyone for celebrating the victory at the Supreme Court.

She described the victory as a victory  for the State and solicited for more prayers for the success of the administration.
In their various speeches, leaders of the delegation appreciated God for the victory at the Supreme Court and for the present administration, stressing that at the end of the tenure, there will be reasons to give gratitude to God.

They further applauded the efforts of her Excellency at alleviating the sufferings of the less privileged and downtrodden in the State through the Hope Afresh Foundation.

The groups also pledged their support and loyalty to the lofty programmes of the Governor’s wife, emphasizing that they are available at any time their assistance is needed for programmes at the Foundation.

The groups present include; House of Refuge Ministry International, Kambu Women Fellowship, Nigerian Union of Beads Makers,Singles and Teenage Girls Ministry, UMCN Orphanage Mile six and Ussa Integrity and Initiative Group.
