2573 Corp Members Leave Orientation Camp To Their Posted LGAs


A total of 2573 corp members of the batch B, stream two have been posted to several places of primary assignment in Taraba state for the next one year.

In a passing out parade held today Monday, at the permanent orientation camp in Sibre, Ardo-Kola LGA, the NYSC Coordinator in the State, Altine Japhet Alkam, revealed that there had not been any casualty in the camp.

In his message, the Executive Governor of Taraba state, Darius Dickson Ishaku, represented by the State Head of Service, Simon Angyu, congratulated the corp members for successfully passing out of the orientation camp. He assured them that the government is leaving no stone unturn in ensuring continuous adequate security in the state

The highlight of the occasion included the official passing out parade by the corp members and display by the NYSC Man ‘o’ War group, to the admiration of guests.

Also at the occasion were members of the State Executive Council and officials of law enforcement agencies in Taraba state.

SHOCKER! Goat Gives Birth To ‘Human Being’ in Taraba [PHOTO]



There was confusion in Taraba State recently after a goat gave birth to a creature, which looks so much like human being.

An eyewitness, Rariya wrote in her Facebook wall that residents were thrown into shock after a nanny goat allegedly gave birth to the baby goat in ‘human form’

She said residents were alleging that the owner of the goat may have had sex with the nanny goat.

DARIUS IS WORKING! Taraba Releases N600m Teachers’ Salary Arrears


The Taraba State government has released the sum of N600 million for the payment of salary arrears of primary school teachers in the state.

Chief Press Secretary to Governor Darius Ishaku, Mallam Hassan Mijinyawa, disclosed this to Daily Trust in an interview. He said the state government owed teachers three months’ salaries, leading to a strike action by teachers.

He said the strike ended after the money was released as agreed with the teachers.
Chairman of the State Primary Education Board, Mr. Yakubu Agwaizo, has confirmed release of the money and commended the government.
