Hon. Baraya to be Turbaned As Garkuwan Wurkun

All roads lead to Karim Lamido LGA, for the turbaning of Member representing Karim 2 in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Edward Gideon Baraya.  

According to the program of events just released, the ceremony would be conducted by His  Royal Highness, the Chief of Wurkun and Garkuwan Muri, Alhaji Abubakar Haruna Kirim, on Saturday 2nd April 2016, at Government Secondary School, Karim Lamido, by 10:00 am.


Dignitaries expected to attend the occasion include:  Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and his Deputy, Hon. Haruna Manu.

Others include Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, Taraba State council of Emirs and Chiefs led by the Aku Uka of Wukari, Dr. Shekarau Angyu Masa Ibi Kuvyon 11 as well as top government functionaries.   

According to the celebrant who is also House Committee Chairman on Finance and Appropriation, said that preparation have been concluded for the August event.
